Job Description
A Guidewire InsuranceNow Technical Lead is responsible for the design develop

ment and maintenance of cloudbased solutions on the Guidewire InsuranceNow platform for insurance companies Key duties include customizing the platform integrating it with other systems configuring workflows troubleshooting issues and collaborating with business stakeholders and other technical teams to deliver highquality software for policy administration billing and claims processing

Design develop and customize solutions within the InsuranceNow platform to meet specific business require

ments

Build integrations between InsuranceNow and other external or thirdparty applications

Configure workflows rules and other system components to optimize insurance operations

Identify troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues to ensure the system operates efficiently

Work closely with business analysts QA testers architects and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Provide technical guidance estimate effort for projects lead code reviews and ensure code quality

Establish and adhere to coding design and testing best practices and guidelines

Required skills and qualifications

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience with Guidewire InsuranceNow and a background in Java development

Strong knowledge of Java JavaScript and related web technologies XML HTML

Experience with databases like SQL Server MySQL or AWS Aurora

Familiarity with technologies like Apache Tomcat and cloud services eg AWS

Understanding of logging and debugging tools eg Log4J heap dumps

Familiarity with insurance industry processes and workflows is often required

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: USD 110000 to 138665 per year
