Fan Experience Manager (Accessibility Lead), Co-op Live

Oak View Group is hiring a Fan Experience Manager (Accessibility Lead) for Co-op Live in Manchester to ensure inclusive and accessible venue experiences for all fans, visitors, and staff.

The role leads accessibility strategy, service implementation, staff training, and stakeholder engagement across the full event lifecycle.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive venue accessibility strategy.
• Conduct accessibility audits/assessments and implement improvements.
• Partner with operations, security, guest services, and marketing teams on accessibility integration.
• Serve as primary contact for accessibility inquiries and feedback.
• Deliver staff training on accessibility awareness, etiquette, and service delivery.
• Build and manage relationships with disability/accessibility advocacy organizations.
• Oversee accessible service delivery (seating, wayfinding, sensory spaces, communication supports).
• Monitor legislation and industry best practices for accessibility in live events.
• Report on initiative progress, outcomes, and continuous improvement opportunities.

• Proven experience in accessibility, inclusion, or disability services (events/hospitality/venue context preferred).
• Strong understanding of accessibility principles and UK legislation (including Equality Act 2010).
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-volume venue environments.
• Strong commitment to inclusive and equitable guest experiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

• Experience in customer-facing operations for large venues/events.
• Knowledge of sensory accessibility and inclusive event design.
