Academic Champion & Accessibility Coordinator

This role sits within the Division of Academic Affairs and combines academic advising with ADA/Section 504 coordination. The Academic Champion provides specialized academic advising and intensive case management for Freshman and Sophomore students who are on Academic Warning or Probation, while also serving as the primary officer responsible for managing and assigning reasonable academic and housing accommodations. The position is funded through Title III and reports to the Director of Student Success.

• Provide specialized academic advising for Freshman and Sophomore students
• Manage intensive case management for students on Academic Warning or Probation (Academic Recovery Case Management)
• Serve as the primary officer for managing and assigning reasonable academic and housing accommodations under ADA and Section 504
• Coordinate ADA & Section 504 compliance (ADA & Section 504 Coordination)
• Advocate for student accessibility needs (Accessibility Advocacy)
