Accessibility, Instruction, and Media (AIM) Specialist

SUNY Plattsburgh's Center for Instruction and Program Innovation is hiring a specialist to make digital instructional materials accessible under ADA Title II. The role combines digital accessibility guidance, instructional-design support, and accessible media development for online, hybrid, and technology-enhanced courses.

• Review and remediate digital instructional materials for accessibility.
• Consult with faculty on accessible course design and instructional technology.
• Develop accessible video, audio, graphic, document, and learning-management-system content.
• Support campus compliance and faculty capacity for inclusive teaching.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated WCAG, ADA, Section 508, and document or media remediation experience.
• Experience with instructional design, online course development, or faculty technical support.
• Experience with an LMS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and media-editing tools.

A master's degree, higher-education experience, accessible media development, and familiarity with OSCQR or Quality Matters are preferred.
