Product Designer (Remote)

Cisco's People Strategy & Operations team is hiring a remote Product Designer to improve digital people experiences, including Career Sites and related platforms.

This role combines UX design and implementation work in Phenom CMS, with cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, and people operations teams. A portfolio is required.

• Apply user-centered design across product discovery and delivery.
• Design and implement pages and improvements in the Phenom CMS for Career Sites.
• Produce UX artifacts including flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design outputs.
• Create journey maps/personas and use research insights to improve experiences.
• Prioritize usability, quality, and accessibility in delivered solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, validate concepts with users, and maintain reusable design resources.

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of related experience, or Master's degree with 0 years.
• Strong foundation in interaction design, information architecture, visual/UI design, user research, and content design.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Qualtrics, Maze).
• Experience with CMS/web publishing platforms.
• Working understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML/CSS concepts).
• Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards and inclusive design.

• Advanced Figma proficiency and experience contributing to design systems.
• Experience with Career Sites or HR/talent acquisition platforms (e.g., Phenom, Workday Recruiting).
• Experience working in Agile teams and handling defects.
• Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
• Interest in or exposure to AI/ML feature design and ethical AI considerations.
