Senior Accessibility Analyst – Section 508

Leidos Digital Modernization is hiring a Senior Accessibility Analyst (Section 508) to support enterprise policy, oversight, and compliance activities for DoD accessibility programs.

This role provides strategic and programmatic support for Section 508 implementation across DoD information and electronic technology environments, with hybrid work tied to The Mark Center.

• Support enterprise-wide DoD Section 508 guidance, policy, and standards.
• Evaluate department compliance for Section 508-conformant electronic and information technology (EIT).
• Provide recommendations to improve development, procurement, and maintenance of accessible EIT solutions.
• Help increase Section 508 awareness, application, and program effectiveness.
• Provide policy and oversight support for federally mandated Section 508 implementation.
• Contribute accessibility analysis and reporting to strategic CIO objectives.

• Master's degree and 12+ years of relevant Section 508 experience (or equivalent additional experience in lieu of degree).
• Deep understanding of Section 508 standards and WCAG 2.0 guidance.
• Knowledge of assistive technologies and accessible electronic document practices.
• Proficiency in manual and automated accessibility testing (e.g., ANDI, Accessibility Insights, CCA, Axe, DevTools).
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and practical HTML/CSS accessibility improvement work.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.

• Experience formulating policy, guidance, and training materials.
• Strong SharePoint/collaboration tooling proficiency.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills in federal environments.
