Quality Assurance Tester

Position: Quality Assurance Tester at KYM Advisors, Inc - Remote, US

KYM Advisors is a small business dedicated service provider to the Federal government. We deliver excellence through Data Management, Data Analytics, Agile Software Development, Cyber Security, and Management Consulting Services.

We are seeking a QA Tester with expertise in manual testing, test automation, and Section 508 accessibility compliance. You will work within Agile DevSecOps teams to ensure web applications, APIs, and documents meet quality and accessibility standards.

Salary: $125,000 - $135,000/year

• Design and execute manual and automated tests for web applications, APIs, and databases
• Develop automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress
• Perform Section 508 compliance testing based on WCAG 2.0+ standards (Level A & AA)
• Conduct screen reader testing (JAWS) and manual keyboard navigation testing
• Test document accessibility (PDFs, Word, Excel)
• Document defects and accessibility issues in JIRA with clear remediation guidance
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders in Agile environment

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 8 years of software testing experience
• 3+ years of Section 508/accessibility testing experience
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.0+ (Level A & AA)
• Proficiency with JAWS screen reader and keyboard testing
• Experience testing PDFs, Word, and Excel for accessibility
• DHS EOD required (U.S. Citizenship required)

• Trusted Tester 5.x certification
• Current DHS or SECRET clearance
• Federal government consulting experience
