The New York Public Library
NYPL is hiring a four-year, grant-funded Digital Accessibility Lead to champion accessibility across its digital products and platforms. The role reports to the Digital Department's Chief of Staff and builds strategy, training, review processes, remediation practices, and cross-functional accountability for accessible patron experiences.
A bachelor's degree and at least five years of digital-accessibility experience are required. Candidates need experience leading accessibility across the product lifecycle, applying WCAG 2.2 AA, testing with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack, using manual and automated tools, and remediating documents and web forms.
