Tester II (Remote from anywhere in CO)

This Tester II role supports quality assurance and accessibility validation for state digital products. The position is remote within Colorado and focuses on test planning, execution, defect management, and accessibility standards compliance.

• Identify and document test data requirements.
• Create and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
• Coordinate with project managers and business analysts throughout the testing process.
• Assist with creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Apply functional, regression, performance, and security testing practices.
• Use automation where appropriate for each stage of delivery.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in functional testing, test suites, defect management tools/processes, or application-focused QA work.
• Demonstrated experience applying digital accessibility regulations and standards, including WCAG 2.1.
• Ability to provide specific examples of accessibility improvements.
• Must meet state hiring/background screening requirements.

• Experience with automated scripting (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, AutomatePro).
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Insomnia).
• Performance/load testing experience (e.g., JMeter).
• Strong defect lifecycle and prioritization experience.
