Quality Assurance Analyst

CloudOne Digital (Modern Tribe) is hiring a remote, part-time Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure high-quality, user-focused software delivery across web projects.

The role combines QA strategy, manual/automated testing, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with strong emphasis on WordPress-based digital products.

• Develop and execute QA strategies covering functional, usability, and performance quality.
• Partner with product/engineering on test objectives, acceptance criteria, and risk mitigation.
• Design, maintain, and run manual and automated test frameworks.
• Drive QA process/tool/metric improvements.
• Analyze and report defects and quality metrics with actionable recommendations.
• Contribute quality perspective during planning and product design.
• Mentor peers on testing best practices and automation.
• Collaborate with development/support teams to resolve complex issues.

• 3+ years software QA experience including test design, execution, and automation.
• Ability to work independently with sound technical judgment.
• Strong WordPress setup/administration/troubleshooting knowledge.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience working remotely within U.S. time zones.

• Experience with WCAG 2.0+ accessibility standards.
• Experience with user acceptance testing or business analysis.
• Familiarity with test case management tools such as TestRail or TestCollab.
