Mary Jaharis Managing Educator, Access

This role provides leadership oversight of The Met's Access programs, serving visitors with disabilities and other communities who experience or perceive challenges engaging with the Museum. The Managing Educator reports to the Educator in Charge, Teaching & Learning, and is responsible for the budget, pedagogy, programming, and evaluation of all Access-focused resources.

• Oversee development and implementation of the annual budget for Access programs and resources
• Lead interdisciplinary pedagogy and programming for visitors with disabilities and other communities facing engagement challenges
• Conduct systematic evaluation of all Access programs and resources
• Establish and align efficient processes and systems for program development and evaluation

• Experience as a leader overseeing accessibility-focused programs (described as "an experienced leader" in the role)
