Quality Assurance Tester

This role involves designing and executing manual and automated tests for web applications, APIs, and databases, with a strong focus on Section 508 / WCAG accessibility compliance testing. The position is remote (US) with a small business that serves as a dedicated service provider to the Federal government.

• Design and execute manual and automated tests for web applications, APIs, and databases
• Develop automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress
• Perform Section 508 compliance testing based on WCAG 2.0+ standards (Level A & AA)
• Conduct screen reader testing (JAWS) and manual keyboard navigation testing
• Test document accessibility (PDFs, Word, Excel)
• Document defects in JIRA

• Bachelor's Degree
• 8 years of software testing experience
• 3+ years of Section 508/accessibility testing experience
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Cypress
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.0+
• Proficiency with JAWS screen reader
