Sr. Accessibility Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite from Day 1)

Job Description:
Strong expertise in digital accessibility standards and guidelines.
Proficient in accessibility design and development for customer facing DigiCare platforms, including self-service portals, mobile apps, and care applications.
Hands on experience conducting accessibility audits, assessments, and gap analyses for web and mobile applications.
Expertise in screen reader technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack) and assistive technologies used by diverse user populations.
Strong knowledge of semantic HTML, accessible CSS, and JavaScript patterns for inclusive digital experiences.
Experience validating accessibility for forms, navigation, error handling, notifications, and transactional prepaid telecom journeys.
Proficiency in accessibility testing tools (Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, ARC Toolkit, Accessibility Insights).
Experience with accessibility focused development, adhering to WCAG standards and inclusive design principles.
Experience integrating accessibility testing into CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery workflows.
Strong understanding of mobile accessibility standards for iOS and Android platforms.
Knowledge of accessible design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns.
Familiarity with prepaid telecom customer journeys (recharge, balance inquiry, offers, account management, usage notifications) from an accessibility perspective.
Experience supporting omni channel DigiCare platforms including web, mobile apps, chatbots, IVR companions, and care portals.
Understanding of accessibility requirements for multilingual, low literacy, and assisted care user groups.
Knowledge of usability and inclusive design principles within high volume consumer digital platforms.
Ability to identify and remediate accessibility defects in collaboration with development and UX teams.
Experience documenting accessibility standards, defects, remediation guidance, and compliance reports.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum models in enterprise telecom environments.
Awareness of telecom data privacy, security, and regulatory considerations impacting accessible digital solutions.
Strong communication skills to guide engineering, UX, QA, and product teams on accessibility best practices.
