support of accessibility, administer funding (where available) to system partners; coordinate web accessibility audits, prioritize, and follow up with appropriate campus partners and/or third party vendors; and collaborate with stakeholders, including the Digital Accessibility Subcommittee, to implement sustainable accessibility practices across the University. You work in collaboration and coordination with WSU Information Technology Services in the execution of the digital accessibility program, specifically via the institutional web accessibility scanning platform and associated remediation efforts. Additional Information: This is a full-time (100% FTE), permanent position. Overtime eligibility will be determined based on final salary placement. Monthly Salary: $4,942.10 - $7,500.00 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Required qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated computer software skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office programs, such as: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web platforms. Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and digital accessibility standards. Demonstrated experience providing technical guidance and/or training on digital accessibility. Demonstrated experience remediating digital content to meet accessibility requirements. Preferred qualifications: Experience in higher education. Experience providing digital accessibility technical guidance to faculty. Experience collaborating and coordinating projects across interdisciplinary teams and departments. Experience with audits or reporting on large systems.
